Unlike advertising, which touts a certain product or service as the “best,” and wants you to either buy now or buy later, public relations videos talk about the features of a service, product, or destination without a call to action. It plays the positives without going over the top. It’s a story that shows your company in its best light.
I often suggest that we create videos of a business, a plumber, perhaps, that tell people how to avoid having to call a plumber. The idea is not to sell anything, just to let viewers know that there’s more to a business than products to sell, and that you have the customers’ best interests at heart.
